Condition & notes

In Very Good condition, no dust jacket, as issued. Dark gray-brown paper-covered boards lettered in white; rear board printed "This is the spur of a moment. To be said not read." with Misc. Inc. logo. Light bumping to edges, mild shelf wear, some color loss at corner tips, a few small pale spots on front board. Binding tight. Endpapers printed with white diamond pattern; black flyleaves. Pages clean and unmarked. Small-press collection of spoken-word poetry set in typewriter type, written to be performed rather than read, from street-level London (Hoxton, the East End, Blackpool beach). Includes stage directions ("to be read by David Attenborough or your impersonation if you can't find him"), Skeate's caricatures drawn across and through the text, a ladybird device on the title page, and a blind-embossed seal on a rear leaf reading "Warning: This page is cursed.
