In Good condition. Stiff paper covers, front with a Persian miniature-style scene of a courtyard meal, title in red on a yellow panel. Water stain to front cover, showing through to the inner side, and a scuffed patch at lower right where a price sticker was removed, lifting the surface layer. Brown staining to rear cover, not reaching the inner side. Mild shelf and edge wear. Comb binding tight. Pages clean and unmarked. Self-published recipe and history compendium by a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (persona THLady Amarath Jean yr Raven), who also drew the cover. 201 numbered entries in three sections, mixing recipes adapted for the modern kitchen with short histories of ingredients and dishes from Turkish, Persian, Kurdish, Egyptian, Moroccan, Syrian, Lebanese, Berber and Iberian (Al-Andalus) traditions.
