In Very Good condition with a Very Good dust jacket. Green cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. Mild shelf and edge wear, a hint of color loss at corner tips and at head and foot of spine. Binding tight. Previous owner's bookplate (a printed poem, The Angler's Chant) pasted to front pastedown, with owner's name, zip code and date 1970 in blue ink, framed in green marker. Otherwise unmarked. Pictorial dust jacket with photograph of an angler landing a fish on front panel, Beaufort Library advertisement on rear panel, not price clipped (18s. net); a few tiny nicks at head and foot of spine, mild shelf and edge wear with some color loss along edges; reinforced with clear tape on inner side, not visible from outside. Now in an archival quality (removable) Brodart cover. Practical manual written by Jock Scott (pen name of Donald G. Ferris Rudd) to mark his fiftieth fishing season, setting out simplified methods for trout and salmon with fly, minnow and prawn in Scottish rivers and lochs and in English rivers and reservoirs.
