In Very Good condition. Glossy illustrated paper covers with light bumping increasing to edges and corners, mild shelf and edge wear, and a hint of color loss along the fold of the spine. Staple bound. Interior pages clean and unmarked. No cast sheet laid in. Souvenir book for the original Broadway production at the Gershwin Theatre, opening night 30 October 2003, with photography throughout of the original cast: Idina Menzel as Elphaba, Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda, Norbert Leo Butz, Carole Shelley, William Youmans, Michelle Federer and Sean McCourt. Music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, book by Winnie Holzman, directed by Joe Mantello, from the novel by Gregory Maguire. Maguire contributes a signed essay on the adaptation, closing "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz was published more than a hundred years ago.
