Irving Berlin, Inc., Published 1930. Sheet music, 5 pp.; 31 cm; pictorial and illustrated blue and cream covers with an oval photographic portrait of Rudy Vallee beside a drawn New England cottage under a full moon, cover art signed Leff (Sydney Leff); piano and voice with ukulele chord diagrams arranged by May Singhi Breen.

Condition & notes

In Good condition. Front cover shows a few small nicks and short edge tears with light creasing to the edges, mild shelf wear, toning and light soiling to the pages. A previous owner's name in ink at the top corner of the front cover. Binding sound. Otherwise unmarked. Associated with Rudy Vallee, whose photographic portrait appears on the front cover along with a printed facsimile of his handwritten inscription and signature (as issued in all copies). A 1930 Irving Berlin, Inc. publication of the sentimental ballad by Dave Vance and George P. Howard, with an attractive New England cottage cover design by Sydney Leff and a ukulele arrangement by May Singhi Breen. Back cover carries a musical sample of "Swingin' in a Hammock" (words by Tot Seymour and Chas. O'Flynn, music by Pete Wendling).
