In Good condition. Front cover shows a few small nicks and short edge tears with light creasing to the edges, mild shelf wear, toning and light soiling to the pages. A previous owner's name in ink at the top corner of the front cover. Binding sound. Otherwise unmarked.Associated with Rudy Vallee, whose photographic portrait appears on the front cover along with a printed facsimile of his handwritten inscription and signature (as issued in all copies). A 1930 Irving Berlin, Inc. publication of the sentimental ballad by Dave Vance and George P. Howard, with an attractive New England cottage cover design by Sydney Leff and a ukulele arrangement by May Singhi Breen. Back cover carries a musical sample of "Swingin' in a Hammock" (words by Tot Seymour and Chas. O'Flynn, music by Pete Wendling).
