In Acceptable condition. Black, red, and silver pictorial cover with two previous owners' names in pencil at the top edge and light pencil scribbling below the title; toning and light chipping at the top corners. Folded spine split along the fold and repaired with clear tape, holding at the head. Inner leaf with a 1.5 inch and a 1 inch tear along the outer edge and several smaller edge nicks and tears; light shelf wear, aging, and soiling. Interior music pages unmarked.A comic novelty waltz whose lyric runs through a fellow's serial deceptions (a sweetheart who bets his money on a horse named "Yvette" and swears there is no Santa Claus), words by Harry White and music by Will Donaldson. The cover is the work of Barbelle (Albert Wilfred Barbelle), a bold black, red, and silver concentric-circle design of a startled man and a woman in a red dress, signed at lower left. Back cover advertises a single Stark & Cowan number, "Wanita (Wanna Eat?)" by Sam Coslow and Al Sherman, reproducing its chorus; other copies carry a different back-cover advertisement.
