In Good condition. Green illustrated paper covers with a drawn feathered-serpent column and black title panel at foot; light bumping increasing at edges and corners, mild to moderate shelf wear, toning to edges, some scuffing to back cover, and a hint of color loss along spine. Staple bound, binding tight; pages lightly toned, otherwise unmarked with occasional light spotting. Written by Alberto Ruz Lhuillier (1906-1979), the Mexican archaeologist who in 1952 uncovered the tomb of the Maya ruler Pakal beneath the Temple of the Inscriptions at Palenque, among the most significant discoveries in Maya archaeology.
