Cream printed card wrappers with the borough arms to the front cover; mild edge and shelf wear, with bumping and creasing to the edges and corners, light soiling to the rear cover, and toning throughout. Binding tight; text otherwise unmarked. Walter H. Godfrey's history and guide to Lewes, the county town of Sussex, first written in 1933 and here in the sixth edition of 1971, revised by L. S. Davey, W. E. Godfrey, and M. J. Macpherson and published by the Lewes Borough Council.
