In Very Good condition. Black pictorial paper covers, front cover a black-and-white aerial photograph of the Running Fence, with mild shelf wear, light bumping and creasing to corners and edges, and a few faint surface marks to the black field. Binding tight. Pages clean and unmarked. Facsimile signatures of Christo and Jeanne-Claude printed on front cover and title page (present in all copies; not a hand-signed copy). Exhibition catalog for "25 Years After the Running Fence: Sonoma and Marin Counties, 1972-76," held at the Sonoma County Museum, Santa Rosa, California, August 23 to October 28, 2001. Published to mark the silver anniversary of the Running Fence and the museum's acquisition of the Thomas M. Golden and James R. Kidder collection, the largest gathering of work by Christo and Jeanne-Claude in the United States. Catalog underwritten by a grant from the Sonoma County Community Foundation drawn from a bequest of Santa Rosa resident and Peanuts cartoonist Charles M. Schulz. With a welcome by board president Kevin Konicek, a curator's statement by guest curator Gay Shelton, and a personal remembrance by longtime collaborator and collector Tom Golden. Illustrated throughout with color plates of lithographs, collages, and original wrapped sculptures from the collection (Running Fence, Wrapped Reichstag, Surrounded Islands, Wrapped Monument to Vittorio Emanuele, The Mastaba, Over the River, Wrapped Telephone, and Wrapped Stapler among them), together with documentary photographs by Wolfgang Volz.
