The binding is tight and the pages are clean and unmarked. The pictorial dust jacket reproduces a folk-art panorama of Marblehead harbor on the front and an engraving of fish drying at Little Harbor on the back; it shows a few small nicks and light creasing to the edges and mild shelf wear.
