Light green paper covers with dark green lettering and border; bumping and creasing to edges and corners of covers; moderate overall shelfwear with scuffing, soiling, toning and darkening; heavier discoloration on the rear cover; Spine creased but binding is still sound. Interior pages are clean and unmarked with light corner creasing. A comprehensive study of musical ornamentation arranged in quasi-chronological order, complete in one volume. Part I covers ornamentation from Diruta to J.S. Bach in 24 sections; Part II covers C. Ph. E. Bach to the present in 16 sections, including a conclusion and addenda.
