Condition & notes

In good condition / no dust jacket. Original maroon cloth boards with faded and worn spine lettering; moderate rubbing and surface wear to boards; corners lightly bumped. Spine cloth toned with small areas of wear. Thin crack to spine at pages 208-9, but binding is still sound. Previous owner's bookplate on front pastedown and ink signature on front free endpaper. Otherwise, interior pages are evenly toned with age and unmarked. A collection of Donald Francis Tovey's articles on musical forms and concepts originally prepared for the Encyclopaedia Britannica, edited with an editorial preface by Hubert J. Foss.
