In good condition. Original red cloth boards with cloth spine; moderate rubbing and surface wear; corners lightly worn; spine faded; spine has a thin crack at pages 176-178 but binding remains sound. Previous owners bookplate on front pastedown and ink signature on front free endpaper. Otherwise interior pages lightly age toned and unmarked, with a few shallow creases to preliminary leaves. Contains the greater part of Donald Francis Toveys analyses of chamber music, edited with an introductory note by Hubert J. Foss.
