In very good condition. Brown paper covers with black lettering and illustration on cover. Light bumping to edges and very light overall scuffing to covers. Binding tight (staple bound). Light spotting to top edge of text block. Pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. NOT Ex-library. NO remainder marks. Black and white illustrations throughout. This is one of a series of papers published quarterly prepared by members of the Potomac Corral of the Westerners on various western subjects. In this book, Krause describes some of his personal experiences visiting ghost towns in Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana. He pays particular attention to Belmont, Nevada, and Silver City, ID. He also talks about the state of preservation of these towns (as of 1969) and provides a list of his 28 favorite towns divided into "Real Ghosts", "Ghosty" and Still Kicking". An interesting snapshot of the state of ghost towns in the late 1960's.
