Illustrated paper covers, cutaway views of mid-century interiors to front and rear; light bumping and creasing to edges and corners, mild shelf wear, soiling and toning along spine edge of rear cover. Staple bound; binding tight. Pages clean and unmarked. Price list staple bound; binding tight, mild toning. Dealer catalog of bedding and convertible furniture in fifteen sections, including Springwall mattresses, Sleep-Away convertible sofas, sofa beds, studio lounges, trundle and bunk beds, Hollywood headboards and ensembles, chaise cots on Roll-Ease wheels, coil springs and metal beds. Photographs show models in furnished room settings, with style numbers, dimensions and finishes. Laid-in price list gives net and quantity prices beside suggested retail (Firm-Matt Springwall mattress, $32.95 net, $59.95 retail), prices sofas by fabric code, adds a wrought iron line, and notes that its Red Cross felt mattress "has no connection whatsoever with the American National Red Cross." Rear cover lists 21 distributing warehouses across the South. Founded in Atlanta in 1884, Southern Spring Bed Company also made automobile seats and metal display stands, and closed in 1977; its factory complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
