Mild shelf wear and edgewear to covers with light scuffing, a hint of soiling, and a small brown spot at lower edge of rear cover. Binding tight. Pages clean and unmarked. Exhibition catalogue for Wendy Artin's October-November 2000 show at Gurari Collections, Boston. Adele Chatfield-Taylor, President of the American Academy in Rome, writes on Artin's working method in the city and her handmade papers of banana and jute; the documentary filmmakers Richard Leacock and Valerie Lalonde contribute a short appreciation. Includes a photograph of Artin in her studio at the American Academy in Rome, 2000. Artin, a Boston-born painter based in Rome, later illustrated the Arion Press edition of Seamus Heaney's "Stone from Delphi" (2012) and received the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art's Arthur Ross Award in 2023.
