In Good condition. Perfect bound, binding tight. Glossy black covers, front lettered in red and white. Light bumping and creasing to edges, a few small nicks, mild shelf wear with scattered scuffs and fine scratches (more noticeable on rear cover), some color loss along edges. Interior clean and unmarked. Laid in: invitation to the opening night performance, Thursday, February 24, 2005, a folding card (center panel with four fold-out flaps) printed in color on black stock; some color loss along folds. Souvenir program for Manilow: Music and Passion, the Las Vegas Hilton residency that opened February 24, 2005 and closed December 30, 2009 after more than 300 shows. Opening statement ("Pop careers last three years . . . Now please add a zero.") and a two-page career biography: Brooklyn childhood, music director for Bette Midler, "Mandy," Copacabana, the Emmy-winning 1977 ABC special, and Could It Be Magic? The Barry Manilow Songbook. Remainder is photographs from each decade of his career, set against album covers, Playbills from Manilow at the Gershwin, and posters for Foul Play and Copacabana. The invitation promised guests a VIP pass to a red-carpet party after the show for "Barry, his cast, his friends and you.
