Condition & notes
In Very Good condition. Light bumping to edges and mild shelf wear. No splits at folds. Otherwise unmarked. English-language pictorial history of the West German parliament from 1949 to 1992, issued by the Bundestag in Bonn. Timeline panels cover the first Bundestag and Adenauer's election as Chancellor, the end of the Adenauer era in 1963, the 1966 grand coalition, the Brandt/Scheel coalition and the Basic Treaty with the GDR, the 1982 vote of no confidence that brought Helmut Kohl to power, the Greens' entry in 1983, and the first all-German elections of December 1990. Includes a facsimile of the Basic Law promulgation of 23 May 1949, seat-distribution charts for eight legislative terms from 1949 to 1990, and the new Bonn plenary chamber inaugurated on 30 October 1992.
