Film-location guide to Rome issued jointly by the city's tourist promotion office and the Roma Film Commission, with an introduction by Walter Veltroni, mayor of Rome 2001-2008, who launched the Rome Film Festival in 2006. Eight walking itineraries by district pair squares and streets with scenes shot there, from neorealism (Open City, The Bicycle Thief, Umberto D.) through Fellini, Antonioni, Pasolini and Bertolucci to Roman Holiday, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Titus and Gangs of New York. Includes a list of the 53 films mentioned, with directors and page references, and the Film Commission's permit procedures and fees for shooting in Rome, given in euros.
