In Very Good condition. Glossy pictorial boards, bright, with light rubbing to edges and corner tips, small nicks to paper at head and foot of spine hinges, and faint soiling to lower portion of front and rear covers. Binding tight. Fold-out opens flat, panels intact with no tears. Pages bright. Otherwise unmarked. Teddy Bear and Tina tour the zoo, past giraffe, kangaroo, lion, tiger, elephant and rhino, a children's zoo and a dinosaur park, in search of Teddy's "very special friend," revealed at the end of the fold-out. The multi-panel panorama that closes the book labels more than fifty animals in pen-and-watercolor for young readers to find. Written by Cecily Ruth Hogan, author of several Golden Books of the 1970s including Lassie and Her Friends and Beep Beep the Road Runner; illustrated by Tom O'Sullivan, whose long career included Golden Books, Whitman editions of classics such as Kidnapped and Five Little Peppers, and a Nancy Drew picture book.
