In Very Good condition. Illustrated paper covers, light shelf and edge wear. Binding tight, staples sound. Pages clean and unmarked. Signed by Walt Curtis in black ink beneath the copyright line. Selected poems by Walt Curtis (1941-2023), the self-styled unofficial poet laureate of Portland, whose novella Mala Noche became Gus Van Sant's first film. Poems of the Oregon logging country, the Molalla River, Sauvie Island and the Portland streets. Frank sexual content throughout. Introduction by John Gogol, quoting Allen Ginsberg: "Who is this Walt Curtis person anyway?" This corrected second edition carries eleven poems, marked with an asterisk in the contents, that the 1978 issue does not. Photographs and drawings by the author, except one photograph by Marian Wheatley and one by Marty Christensen. Title poem performed by Curtis at the end of the Portland film Property.
