Condition & notes

In Very Good condition. Oversized purple and pink illustrated paper covers, white lettering to front; light bumping and creasing to edges and corners, mild shelf wear with fading to top edge and spine. Binding tight, pages clean and unmarked. Published on the occasion of the exhibition held at Michael Werner, New York (September 21 to November 25, 2000) and Galerie Michael Werner, Cologne (January 6 to February 24, 2001). Henri Michaux (1899-1984), the Belgian-born French poet and painter, is represented here by gouaches, watercolors, frottages, mescaline drawings, and the ink Mouvements series spanning the 1920s through the 1970s. Includes Michaux's essay "To draw the flow of Time." Text in English and German.
