In Good condition. Color-illustrated paper covers with light bumping and creasing to edges and corners, mild shelf wear, and toning. Plastic comb binding tight. Pages clean and unmarked. Not signed or inscribed.A monograph on Southern California artist Herbert Dickens Ryman (1910-1989), with an essay by Betje Howell, reproducing his paintings and drawings in color and black-and-white, from portraiture and Monterey coast scenes to subjects drawn from his travels abroad. Ryman worked as a studio artist for MGM and as a Disney Imagineer, drawing the first aerial concept rendering of Disneyland in 1953. A list of owners at the rear includes Walt Disney, John and Lionel Barrymore, Cecil B. DeMille, and members of the Guggenheim family.
