Condition & notes

In Very Good condition. Glossy illustrated paper covers (a painting of dogs on Main Street by David Chaplin). Light bumping to corners with a hint of peeling to the thin plastic coating at the corner tips, light overall scuffing; binding tight. A few corner creases to the contents. Signed by the author Tom Clyde in blue ink on the title page. Otherwise unmarked. A collection of Tom Clyde's humor columns from The Park Record (1989-1998), chronicling Park City, Utah's transformation from a hardscrabble mining-turned-ski town into a Sundance-and-Olympics resort. Irreverent local-interest commentary on runaway growth, real estate, the Film Festival, and small-town life. Self-published by the author under his Giardia Springs Mining Co. imprint, with cover art by David Chaplin. The title comes from a 1980s Park City mayoral candidate's campaign line.
