In Very Good condition. Cream color illustrated card wraps with mild shelf wear and light bumping to edges. Binding tight; text clean and unmarked. Cover reproduces Hofmann's "Green Harmony" (1959). Catalogue issued by the Andre Emmerich Gallery, New York, for the exhibition held 7 to 30 January 1982, devoted to the small-format late paintings Hans Hofmann made on plywood, cardboard, and construction paper. Thirteen works reproduced in full color, introduced by Hofmann's own statement "On the Aim and Nature of Art" and a black-and-white photograph of the artist's Provincetown home by Fred W. McDarrah.
