In Good condition with an Acceptable dust jacket. Brown pebbled faux-leather boards, gilt lettering to front and spine, with mild shelf and edge wear. Binding tight. Light toning to endpapers; previous owner's blind-embossed circular ownership stamp to front free endpaper; otherwise clean and unmarked. Orange dust jacket price-clipped, with a closed 2-inch tear to the paper over the rear hinge at the spine and several smaller edge tears, mild to moderate overall rubbing and soiling, moderate toning to the spine, and light surface scratches along the top edge; no edge creasing. Now in an archival quality (removable) Brodart cover. First published in 1906, a classic study of the Arabian horse by Colonel Spencer Borden, a pioneer American Arabian breeder.
