In Very Good condition. Color pictorial paper covers, glossy, with mild shelf wear, light soiling, and mild toning. Small mark in blue ink above the title logo on front cover. Staple-bound binding tight. Early ink ownership inscription ("Property of...") to first interior page. Pages toned but otherwise unmarked. Spring 1956 issue of the bi-monthly house organ published by and for the employees of the Knudsen Creamery Co. of California, edited by John Kieldrup under director Leonard F. Greenburg from the company offices at 1974 Santee Street, Los Angeles. A richly illustrated mid-century corporate magazine documenting the Southern California dairy and its workforce across the Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Maria, and San Bernardino branches. Features in this issue include "Los Angeles Beautiful," the "Knudsen Half Pint Parade" of employees' children, Credit Union News, a year-end financial report, "Looking in on San Bernardino," "Listen Americans" by Dr. George S. Benson, and "The California Financial Responsibility Law." The issue's editor was awarded the 2nd Annual S.C.I.E.A. Merit Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Graphic Arts by the Printing Week Council of Greater Los Angeles. A scarce piece of Southern California dairy and advertising ephemera.
