In Very Good condition. Glossy pictorial paper covers show light bumping to edges and mild shelf wear. Binding tight, pages clean and unmarked. A monograph surveying the bronze and stainless steel sculpture of Bay Area artist Archie Held, much of it incorporating water as a central element. Full-color plates document public and private commissions installed worldwide, with works dated through 2016, each captioned with title, year, medium, dimensions, and location. Includes the essay "Style and Form" by Jodi Murphy, a list of exhibitions and galleries, and acknowledgements. Held (UCLA-trained under Oliver Andrews) has worked from his Richmond, California studio since the 1980s, producing several hundred commissions for clients including the Bellagio, Robert Mondavi Winery, and the Four Seasons Hong Kong.
