In very good condition. Maroon illustrated wraps show light bumping and creasing to edges and corners and mild shelf wear, with a hint of color loss along edges and spine. Binding is tight. Pages clean and unmarked. Front cover reproduces Ray Roberts's painting "Sequit Point, Malibu." Catalogue of the exhibition held at the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art, Pepperdine University, Malibu (May 22 - August 7, 1999) and the Phippen Museum, Prescott, Arizona (July 2 - November 5, 2000), presenting more than sixty-five contemporary plein air views of Malibu by members of the California Art Club, reproduced in full-page color plates with artist attributions. With an essay, "Plein Air Painting in Malibu," by Michael Zakian, a foreword by Pepperdine president David Davenport, and illustrated artist biographies.
