In Good condition. A few tiny edge nicks and some edge creasing; light spotting, soiling, and toning along the edges, with light toning to the blank verso.A two-color artist's rendering of "The Revelle," one of three proposed vehicles (with the Dale and the Vanagen) from the Twentieth Century Motor Car Corp. of Encino, California. Founded in 1974 during the energy crisis by Elizabeth "Liz" Carmichael, the company promoted the Dale, a fuel-efficient three-wheeled two-seater designed by Dale Clifft, taking deposits and investment for cars that were never produced. The Revelle and the Vanagen, advertised at $2,500 and $2,850, never advanced beyond renderings like this one. The company collapsed amid fraud charges and Carmichael, a transgender woman with a prior criminal history, fled with investor funds. The story was the subject of the 2021 HBO docuseries "The Lady and the Dale." Scarce original sales literature for a car that was never built.
