In Very Good condition. Five issues from the auction catalog series published by R.C. & Elwanda Holland of "Books Are Everything!" in Richmond, Kentucky: List No. 42 (May 1988), List No. 43 (June 1988), List No. 44 (July 1988), List No. 45 (October 1988), and List No. 52 (undated, issued after a publication hiatus). Each catalog's colored front cover reproduces a vintage paperback cover in black and white: No. 42 "White Slave Racket" by Roland Vane (Leisure Library 8); No. 43 "One Night with Nancy" by Wilson Collison (Novel Library 20); No. 44 "I, The Jury" by Mickey Spillane (White Circle CD 384); No. 45 "The Screaming Mimi" by Fredric Brown (Bantam 831); No. 52 "Death on the Nile" by Agatha Christie (Avon 517). All five have mild shelf wear and light soiling to the covers; interior pages clean and unmarked. Each issue contains the auction listings for that month plus the auction results from the previous issue, with the exception of List No. 43, which does not include results at the back. These catalogs offered hundreds of vintage paperbacks per issue, indexed by category (Mystery, Western, Adventure, Espionage, Humor, Science Fiction, and others) with title, author, original publication date, condition grade, and opening bid. Stapled into List No. 44 is a separate "Original Art for Sale" brochure by the same publishers, offering original pen-and-ink artwork (approximately 10 by 15 inches) from the Humorama digest publications of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. Approximately half of the offered inventory was by Bill Wenzel, with sample reproductions of Wenzel's pinup cartoons included. Issued by the Hollands as companion publications to their long-running "Books Are Everything!" fanzine.
