In Good condition. Glossy cream pictorial paper covers feature a centered photograph of daffodils with green decorative daffodil drawings printed throughout. Covers show bumping and creasing to edges and corners and mild overall shelf wear with some soiling. Binding tight. Pages unmarked with occasional light corner creasing.Memoir by Ione Morris Reed (b. 1909, Prineville, Oregon), who with her husband Ike purchased a farm at Mapleton on Hadsall Creek along the Siuslaw River in 1937 and over the following decades developed it into a working daffodil and miniature plant nursery. Reed wrote a weekly travel and garden column for Emerald Empire magazine for ten years and contributed to Family Camping, Flower & Garden, Organic Gardening, National Parks, Western Living, and Oregon Farmer.
