In Very Good condition. Glossy pictorial paper covers reproducing Beasley's "Coriolis III" sculpture on the front, with light bumping and creasing to edges and corners and mild shelf wear, including a bit of color loss at the corner tips, edges, and back cover. Binding tight, pages clean and unmarked. Catalog for the exhibition "Bruce Beasley: 3D Printed Sculpture" held at The Autodesk Gallery, San Francisco, October 29, 2013 - February 7, 2014. Documents the Coriolis series, a body of work Beasley produced using Autodesk software and Stratasys 3D printing technology, in which a four-inch-wide polygonal bar is digitally curved and twisted into self-intersecting ribbon forms before being printed in acrylonitrile butadiene styrene. Bruce Beasley (born 1939, Los Angeles), a California abstract sculptor whose work is held in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the National Museum of American Art, the Musee d'Art Moderne in Paris, the National Art Museum of China, and over thirty other institutions, contributes an essay on his transition from cast-bronze and acrylic monoliths to digitally generated and printed forms.
