In Good condition. Illustrated wraps with a color reproduction of Picasso's "Mother and Child" (Blue Period, ca. 1901) on the front cover. 1/2" tears to the wrappers at the top and bottom of the spine; light to moderate overall toning, soiling and scattered spots, heavier to rear cover. Saddle-stitched; binding sound. Interior pages mildly toned but otherwise unmarked. Exhibition catalog published by City National Bank, Pershing Square, Los Angeles, California, in January 1967, presenting selected paintings from the private collection of Hollywood film producer William Goetz and his wife Edith Mayer Goetz (daughter of MGM founder Louis B. Mayer). Introduction, "A Few Words About the Impressionists," by playwright William Inge. 33 plates (6 in color); includes works by Pierre Bonnard, Georges Braque, Paul Cezanne, Honore Daumier, Andre Derain, Edgar Degas, Raoul Dufy, Henri Fantin-Latour, Paul Gauguin, Edouard Manet, Henri Matisse, Amedeo Modigliani, Berthe Morisot, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Odilon Redon, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Georges Rouault, Alfred Sisley, Vincent Van Gogh, Edouard Vuillard, and Maurice de Vlaminck. The collection was later sold at Christie's New York in 1988.
