Condition & notes

In acceptable condition. Original printed paper wrappers; heavy edge wear with chipping and losses along edges and spine; spine heavily worn with loss; covers and text block age toned; binding fragile but intact; interior pages lightly toned but generally clean and unmarked. Exhibition guide issued in conjunction with the 1914 loan exhibition of the J. Pierpont Morgan Collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, documenting the scope and arrangement of works assembled by Morgan during the final years of his life. Includes an introduction outlining the origins of the collection and descriptive text organized by gallery and period, with photographic plates illustrating key objects and installations.
