Condition & notes

In very good condition. Light bumping and minor edge wear with slight edge curvature; colors bright; image clean and unfaded; no writing or markings. Original promotional sheet issued by the Redfern Gallery to announce an exhibition and opening reception for bronze sculpture artist Mark Rossi, held October 18, 1997. Features a full-color photographic reproduction of Rossi's bronze sculpture Under Wing - Harris Hawk (48 inch wingspan), silhouetted against a dramatic sunset sky. The text identifies Rossi as a bronze sculptor working primarily with wildlife subjects and lists several sculptures exhibited, including Brown Trout, Whitetail Doe Feeding in Juniper, Javelina, Coyote, Kit Fox, Desert Tortoise, and a monumental three-times-life-size Blacktail Jack Rabbit. The piece also references the installation of a sculpture garden at the Redfern Gallery displaying large-scale outdoor bronzes by Rossi. Mark Rossi is an American bronze sculptor known for realistic wildlife sculpture depicting animals of the American West and Southwest, with an emphasis on natural movement and anatomical accuracy.
