In very good condition in very good dust jacket. Glossy pictorial paper over boards have light bumping to edges and faint handling wear. Binding tight. Interior pages clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has light edge wear and light overall scuffing. Now in an archival quality (removable) Brodart cover. Includes sepia photographs throughout. Decorative endpapers reproduce sheets of the 2002 USPS Duke Kahanamoku 37 cent commemorative stamp. Foreword by Wilmer C. Morris. Hawaii's Ambassador of Aloha, Duke Kahanamoku, is remembered for his Olympic medals and as the Father of International Modern Surfing. But those who place leis on his statue in Waikiki equally honor him for his strength of character and the Hawaiian ideals he represented.
