In very good condition. Blue textured faux leather boards stamped in silver on front cover, with mounted color photograph. Light rubbing to extremities and mild handling wear to boards. Binding tight. Interior pages clean, with a faint vertical stain visible at the gutter on the front endpaper panoramic spread. A United States Army Training Center Infantry yearbook documenting the basic training cycle for Company D, 5th Battle Group, 1st Brigade, Fort Ord, California. Training commenced 26 November 1962 and concluded with graduation on 31 January 1963. Includes a printed history of Fort Ord; color photographic sections showing physical fitness, field exercises, weapons range training, and base facilities; group portraits of officers, NCOs, and trainees; kitchen staff portraits; and scenes of the surrounding Monterey Peninsula including 17 mile drive, Presidio of Monterey, Colton Hall, and local military chapels.
