Exhibition catalog issued in conjunction with the exhibition "Suzani - Central Asian Embroideries," held at the Ethnography and Folklore Pavilion, Haaretz Museum, Winter 1986. Introduction outlines the history of the Suzani tradition across Central Asia, discussing the region, its people, embroidery stitches, dyes, motifs, and stylistic development. Includes detailed catalog entries with descriptive texts in Hebrew and English, and illustrations of Suzani examples from Nurata, Shahr-i Zibs, and other Central Asian centers. Bibliography in both languages.
