Solid green cloth covered boards with black pattern at top and bottom of front cover and gilt title on front. Light overall scuffing and soiling to covers with a bit of the color scuffed off along edges and a bit of nicking to the cloth at the top and bottom of spine. Thin crack to spine at the top of the title page. Otherwise binding is solid. 1" tear on the bottom edge of the first 18 pages. Previous owner's (Francis Conkling Huyck founder of Kenwood Mills) attractive bookplate affixed to front paste-down. Otherwise pages are lightly aged but unmarked. Not Ex-library.
