In very good condition. Original printed boards with red cloth spine, light shelf wear and mild age toning to covers; internally clean with minimal foxing. Complete with all 16 plates, each illustrating scenes depicting Jewish suffering and deportation during the Holocaust, including labor service, the ghetto of Nagyvarad, and Auschwitz arrivals. Foreword by Bela Zsolt in Hungarian only. A deeply personal and graphic record of Jankay's Holocaust experience, created soon after World War II before his emigration to the United States. A rare survival of an important postwar artistic testimony.
