In very good condition with light bumping and creasing to edges and corners and light overall scuffing. Binding tight (staple bound). "1998" written in ink on top corner of first page. Otherwise pages are unmarked. Catalog published by the Shanghai Museum for its Chinese Calligraphy Gallery. Introduces the chronological development of Chinese calligraphy through dynastic periods from the Shang to the Qing.
