In good condition with light bumping and creasing to edges and corners and light overall scuffing and soiling. Front cover has to small black lines in ink written over the title. Binding tight (staple bound). Last two pages were stuck together and have a 1" square scuffed patch. Otherwise pages are clean and marked. The issue is devoted largely to the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake and includes the lead article "Geologic and Tectonic Setting of the Epicentral Area of the Loma Prieta Earthquak" by David L. Wagner, as well as a report on plate tectonics in the Gulf of California region by Nancy Schmidt of the Arizona Geological Survey. Other contents include a notice for Special Publication 98 on river gravel mining, short course announcements, and geological book reviews.
