In good condition. Laminated paper covers have a 1/2" tear to the top edge of the back corner at the spine and a 1/2" tear at the bottom of the back cover near the spine. Light bumping to edges and corners and light overall scuffing to covers as well. Binding tight. Pages aged but otherwise clean and unmarked. NOT Ex-Library. NO remainder marks. Includes laid-in two color grid map of Brussels. Fully illustrated with sketch maps, plans and photos. [From Preface to New Edition] This new edition of the English Guide to Brussels has been brought completely up to date, thoroughly revised and largely rewritten. With the sectional maps showing the walks, and the plan of Brussels included, we have no hesitation in saying that visitors will have no difficulty in finding their way to the most interesting sights this ancient and historical town has to offer. The descriptive matter has been linked up to the plan which accompanies this Guide, thus Pl. 45 means that the building or place described may be found at once by referring to Square 45 on the plan. Thanks are especially due to Mr. Gilliat-Smith, the author of "The Story of Brussels" which we have often quoted, and grateful acknowledgment is made also to all those who have kindly supplied photographs.
