Dolly Moreno, born in Alexandria, Egypt, to a Greek father, studied fine arts in Cairo, Alexandria, Montmartre, and Queens College, New York, before moving to Brazil, where she studied sculpture with Nicolas Vlavianos in São Paulo. She has exhibited widely in Brazil, the U.S., and France, with notable shows at Gloria Luria Gallery in Miami, Gallerie Jean Claude Bellier in Paris, and Selecte Artist Gallery in New York. Her works are part of private collections and museums, including the Outdoor Sculpture Museum at the São Paulo Legislative Assembly gardens.
