Condition & notes

In good condition. Brown and white paper covers have light bumping and creasing to edges and corners and light to moderate overall scuffing and rubbing with a bit of the color scuffed off along the edges and spine. Binding tight (staple bound). Pages clean and unmarked. NOT Ex-library. NO remainder marks. Includes 7 color plates; Biographie through 1981, Collections publiques, Collections privees. Claude Quiesse (b. 1938), is a French painter, sculptor, and yachtsman known for his contributions to postwar and contemporary art. His works range from paintings to sculptures, and he is particularly noted for his bold, pioneering approach to art. Quiesse studied at the School of Beaux-Arts in Caen, which strongly influenced his development, particularly in drawing, a discipline he deeply values. His artwork spans various media, including painting and sketching, and his pieces have been featured in numerous exhibitions in France and internationally.
