Tan illustrated paper covers have library and ex-library stamps on front cover and light bumping and creasing to edges and corners. Light overall scuffing, spotting and soiling to covers as well with a bit of the color rubbed off along the eyes and spine. Binding tight (staple bound). Pages have a few library stamps and are lightly aged but otherwise clean and unmarked. Black and white photo reproductions and illustrations throughout. The Overland Monthly was a monthly literary and cultural magazine, based in California. It was founded in 1868 and published between the second half of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century.
