A guide to Peter Cameron's Andorra (NOT the tiny land-locked principality high in the Pyrenees) "by various authors and with maps by Florent Morellet . . . being a proportionally short guide to a small country compiled by various Andorran citizens to suit the needs of armchair travelers." This amazing little booklet is a fictitious guide to Cameron's fictitious Andorra written by several of the novel's fictitious characters. Includes chapters entitled: A brief history of Andorra: Politics, Society and Commerce by Sophonsobia Doyle Quay; Arts, Culture and Leisure by Soren Pan; Lodging and dining by Lucille Houck Reinhardt; Practical Information and Miscellanea, Contributors, and even a Bibliography. Includes 3 beautiful maps created by Florent Morellet especially drawn for this booklet. With a cheeky preface by Francis Ambiere who writes that the "time has come to set the record straight and offer readers, who are interested in the truth, an opportunity to learn about the real Andorra." Illustrated throughout with colored photo reproductions (including the Hotel Excelsior, Biblioteca, and most other important locations throughout the book). An amazing little gem and a must for any collector of Peter Cameron's works.
