It is the last remaining witness of a commandery of the Order of Malta. The church was built in the 12th century and is protected as a historic monument. The church is decorated with several sculptures, including a statue of Saint Peter in the apse. There are also several stained glass windows, some of which date from the 12th century. The Friends of L'eglise Saint Pierre de Fieffes association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve and promote L'eglise Saint Pierre de Fieffes. The association organizes fundraising events, including popular art exhibitions, conducts educational programs, and provides volunteer opportunities. This book is a comprehensive overview of the history, architecture, and restoration of the church. It includes chapters on the history, architecture, sculptures and stained glass windows, and the restoration of the church. It also features many of the art exhibitions that have been held at the church.
