Postum Cereal Company [Published Date: 1925]. Small staple bound booklet, 8 pp. Published by the Educational Department of Postum Cereal company, Battle Creek Michigan. Postum Company was the original name for the maker of Grape-Nuts, Post's Bran Flakes, Post Toasties, Postum Cereal, Instant Postum, and Post's Bran Chocolate, all of which are listed on the inside of the back of the booklet. This is the first known printing of the booklet which gives a short lesson about where our food comes from. "Jack brought some heads of wheat to school one day. The wheat grew on his Uncle's farm. Jack had been to the farm for a visit. He had seen the wheat growing in the field." Lovely color illustration on front cover and 4 smaller ones inside. Unfortunately, the artist's name is not given.
